RAYAGADA: ST and SC Welfare Minister Lal Bihari Himirika visited Care
Hospital at Visakhapatnam
to meet gang-rape victim of Rayagada on Saturday. He inquired about victim’s
health condition from the doctors of the hospital.
“She is stable and taking normal
diet, but doctors said that they could not comment anything on the condition of
the victim right now. Treatment is on,” said Himirika.
The condition of the victim is critical,
informed the doctors. As 75 per cent of her body was burnt while attempting
suicide after the gang-rape, infection may take place, doctors said.
