BHUBANESWAR: Finally the Odisha
Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) board has declared the date of medical
counselling after much dilly-dallying in finalising the seat sharing problem.
OJEE would start web counseling from July 17, officials said.
According to the OJEE vice-chairman
Sitaram Mahapatra, this year 2,852 candidates have been qualified the medical
entrance. The qualified candidates can register their names and make choice
filling online from July 17. In between July 19 and 22, the students can verify
their documents along with final choice locking process by attending nodal
centres. Four nodal centres will be opened for the counseling here in the
capital city, he added.
The first phase seat allotment list
of the candidates will be published on July 26. The willing students can
withdraw their names from the counselling process in between July 27 and 29,
whereas the final round allotment will be out on August 1.
