BHUBANESWAR: Condemning the police attack on Congress workers on September 6 at the Lower PMG, the High Court Bar Association and the Bhubaneswar Bar Association supported the Odisha bandh call given by the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) which would be observed on September 10.
The Congress members said they
would observe dawn to dusk bandh across the State on Monday. They would allow
Ambulance service, Medicine stores and fire services during the bandh. They
also requested the people of the State to not to travel by train on the day as
they would sit in dharna in front of the trains in various railway stations
across the State.
The members condemned the
statement of the DGP who told the media persons about the indiscipline behavior
of the Congress workers. The party said their party workers are not drunkards.
