Multimedia centre owner held for cheating students


BHUBANESWAR: The students of a Multimedia centre in the city on Sunday handed over their owner of the centre to police after nabbing him from the railway station here for cheating them. The owner had promised to provide certificates and examinations in time, but nothing was happened.

Ramakant, the owner of the Regional Multimedia Centre at Kolathia under Khandagiri police station limit, had collected Rs 40,000 each from more than hundred students by promising them to provide multimedia course. After few days, the owner fled with all the money, alleged the students.

On Sunday, some students nabbed Ramakant from the railway station and handed over to the police.
