PHULBANI: Explosives and other materials used by the Maoists were recovered by the SOG, the CRPF and the local police in a joint operation near Targabali under Gadapur GP of Brahmanigaon police station limit in Kandhamal district on Thursday.
During the operation, the joint
forces recovered one genset, four tiffinment, three landmines, fifty meter
wire, two set polythene, one switch board, two plugs, one digital multimetre,
one extension card, ten batteries and one jerkin from the Maoists’ camp. It was
the second consecutive time, the force recovered such a huge quantity of
explosive items, said the Kandhamal SP.
