CRPF jawan tries suicide attempt in city

BHUBANESWAR: ‘Leave’ in the case of urgent work is very essential for every Government and private professionals. Sometimes, problems arise while asking the higher officials for a leave and some arguments also take place in this case. But, it was a totally different story of a CRPF jawan working here on Wednesday who tried to attempt suicide from a high-level water tank in the premises of the CRPF battalion.

CRPF jawan Surendra Yadav had applied for a leave as he wanted to go home in Himachal Pradesh for an urgent work, but he could not get a leave. When the senior officer of the jawan Surendra Yadav denied for a leave, frustrated Yadav climbed to the top the high-level water tank and announced to commit suicide. He didn’t listen to his colleagues and sat on the top of the water tank few hours.

After few hours, he reportedly got down from the top. We didn’t get any reaction of the CRPF officials in the matter.
