Utkal Bharat slams Dharmendra Pradhan on Coalgate

BHUBANESWAR: Utkal Bharat Party on Monday lashed out at the BJP and its national General Secretary Dharmendra Pradhan for supporting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Coalgate scam. The party also alleged that the BJP supported the Chief Minister to get sympathy from the BJD which help them in next 2014 election.

The party strongly condemned the statement of Pradhan and alleged that he is supporting the sympathetic views in favour of the coal companies as he is also involved in coal transport business in his area Talcher. “The statement clearly reflects that the BJP is trying to win the next election with the help of ruling BJD and for which the party is taking soft attitude towards the party,” party spokesperson Benudhar Samant said.

The spokesperson said the BJP leaders should not keep mum on the statement of Pradhan. The party demanded CBI inquiry into the role of the three political parties Congress, BJD and BJP in the recommendation of coal blocks to industries.
