UPA betrays Aam Admi hiking diesel price: Samajwadi Party

BHUBANESWAR: While UPA-II is giving a tax rebate of 5.2 lakh crore to corporate sector and has failed to arrest corruption 1.86 lakh crore in coalgate, 1.76 lakh crore in 2G spectrum, 50,000 crore in commonwealth game, it is passing the burden in hiking diesel, petrol, cooking gas price to fill its so-called empty coffer.

All left democratic opposition parties would be united to fight this UPA onslaught on Aam Admi, said Samajwadi Party Odisha State Committee president Rabi Behera. Due to this diesel hike of Rs 5 per litre and phasing out of subsidy from cooking gas would create a cascading effect on prices of vegetables and industrial goods which ultimately would choke the economy of the common men’s life. Hence it should be rolled back immediately said Behera in a Press statement.
