Bodies of two babies found in city


BHUBANESWAR: Bodies of two neonatal babies were recovered by the Commissionerate Police from Jayadev Vihar area in city on Friday night. The bodies were kept in the autopsy room of the Capital Hospital, the police said.

According to locals, some youths found the bodies from the road in Jaydev Vihar area when they were returning after immersing the Ganesh idols in late night on Friday. They immediately called the police control room and informed about the incident. The police reached there and recovered two bodies of the neonatal lying on the road.

One among the two bodies was crushed under the vehicles, said the police. After recovering, the police sent the bodies to the Capital Hospital.
